25th Anniversary Trade Show from November 11-13 Is a Silver Celebration

CALVERTON, MD and Arlington, VA, October 22, 2007—The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA), The National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) and the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) have completed plans to deliver a strong combination of excellent seminars, innovative technology, new services and attractive networking opportunities at their November 10-14 meeting in Atlanta.

More than 275 businesses and organizations will display the latest products, services and technology, including a roadside inspection safety demonstration by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance. The 2007 Expo/TransComp continues the tradition of offering a superior package of networking opportunities, trade show activities and highly topical educational seminars for the more than 3,000 senior transportation and logistics officials who are expected to attend. All available trade show space has been sold this year, which marks the 25th Anniversary of both IANA’s Intermodal Expo and NITL’s TransComp Exhibition.

Featured speakers include Kurt Kuehn, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for UPS, who will give the industry keynote address on Monday, November 12, and noted security experts James and Meredith Olson, who deliver closing remarks the next day.

As in past years, the annual membership meetings of IANA and the NITL will be conducted in conjunction with the event. TIA will host its Fall meeting. The organizations also have scheduled committee and division meetings during the event.
