CALVERTON, MD, August 21, 2006 — The Intermodal Association of North America has named Rip Watson to the newly created position of Director of Communications and Public Relations Joni Casey, President and CEO announced.

He will oversee all of IANA’s communications activities, including the editing and writing of publications and news releases, as well as media relations and serving as chief spokesman for the 700+ member trade association.
